TARDIS Model

I started watching Doctor Who recently. It is surprising how it is not famous at all in India. It's a crazy franchise and I became a whovian in a snap!
Here's a TARDIS papercraft model I made!

Typeface inspired from handwriting

I was always told that I have a very peculiar handwriting, one that looks a lot like a separate typeface.
So, I tried to convert it into a typeface.

So, here's what I did.

1. Wrote my handwriting, and then straightened it out, standardised the letters. Wrote all the letters as if they were geometric forms, yet based on my handwriting.

2. Thickened the lines as I wanted them.

3. Decided upon all the letters on paper, then took 'em all to Adobe Illustrator, and started making vectors for each letter!

And here's the final result:

MegaManX, Paper Model.

I was going through these various websites which have crazy papercraft galleries. You can print out the templates and assemble them to make your own character model.

This works crazy on low-poly video game models, because, well, your physical models are going to be low-poly.

I tried my hand at MegaManX, one of my favourite videogame characters of all time.

It certainly takes a long time to figure out initially, but when you get in motion, you can't stop until you finish!
